What we can't see
Remote sessions are encrypted end to end between your devices. Our relay servers only forward encrypted traffic: we cannot see your screen, keystrokes, clipboard, files or chat.
What we keep
- Your account: name, e-mail, a hash of your password, your two-step secret if you turn it on.
- Your devices: name, ZookaLinx ID, operating system, app version, device-key fingerprint, and the network adapter addresses used for Wake-on-LAN.
- Connection records: which device connected to which, when, for how long, how much data went through the relay and from which IP address — for security and for your session history.
- Billing: handled by Stripe; we keep your plan, invoices and Stripe customer ID, never your card number.
How long
Connection records are deleted after 12 months. Account data is deleted when you close your account, except invoices we must keep by law.
Who we share with
Stripe (payments) and our e-mail provider (account e-mails). We never sell your data.
Your rights
Ask for a copy, a correction or deletion of your data at support@zookalinx.com. Canadian residents are protected by PIPEDA; EU/UK residents by the GDPR.
